Problem :
Booking a flight on a mobile device can often be a frustrating experience. Many apps suffer from cluttered interfaces, a confusing multi-step process, and a lack of transparency, leading to user drop-off and booking abandonment. Users need a straightforward, reliable, and quick way to search, book, and manage their flights without unnecessary complexity.
Solution :
This flight booking app was designed to provide a seamless, end-to-end user journey. The solution is a complete 17-screen application that guides the user through every necessary step: a simple flight search, clear date and result selection, an intuitive seat map, secure payment processing, and an easily accessible digital boarding pass. The app features a clean, minimalist UI with a bright and friendly color scheme, making the process feel less stressful and more efficient.
Challenge :
The primary challenge was to condense a complex, information-dense process into a simple and intuitive mobile interface. Designing a seat selection screen that is easy to use on a small device was a significant hurdle. Another key challenge was ensuring the payment and personal information forms were both secure and quick to fill out, minimizing friction at the most critical stage of the booking funnel.
